Larry Phillips has been producing television for over 20 years in the Sarasota market. Most recently he was the News Organization Manager/Chief Photographer for SNN 6. He started with the station from the very beginning and helped it grow into a success in local 24 news. He has won numerous awards from the Florida Associated Press for work in various news categories. He has also won a Society of Professional Journalists award. Larry is the producer of Game On, Game On Profiles, Education Excellence, and The Key Ingredient. Larry is a graduate of Bradley University and has produced TV shows for the City of Sarasota Fire Department, the City of Sarasota. He taught at Booker High School in the VPA TV program. He has also worked at METV in Bradenton. Larry has two children in Sarasota County schools, and his wife is a Nurse Practitioner in the area.
