David Cox joined the United States Air Force in 1981 as a Microwave Radio Technician. While in the Air Force he received his Associates Degree in Electronics. He spent over 4 years working C-141 Special Operations Communications. He was also picked by the Air Force to teach Wideband/Satellite Communications Maintenance to Air Force, Army, and Navy students. He retired from the military September 1, 2001 and moved to Venice, Florida. His wife Kandy started a business making cornices for local decorators. They have 3 children, one still in school.
