Internship Program
The Education Channel Apprenticeship Program is a combination of on-the-job training and related instruction in which student workers learn the practical and theoretical aspects of a highly skilled occupation. The benefits of the Internship Program provide the media intern, as an employee, supervised, structured hands-on experience combined with related technical instruction that then can be immediately applied out in the job market.
Applicant Eligibility and Requirements:

The eligible grade levels for the Internship Program are: Junior and Seniors in High School and any college level student currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college, university or technical program.

Each Internship Program applicant must make a commitment for at least a ten-week period and they are also required to submit the following:

  1. Application (Sarasota County School District requirement)
  2. Contract with The Education Channel
  3. Demo Tape (where applicable)
